1-2-3 bottom boxes are folding cartons with a base that locks in three moves, with no glue or tape. They're the carton we'd suggest for anything with weight, like glass jars of face cream or candles, where a normal tuck flap slowly pushes open. They're designed free, made without die or plate fees and delivered flat.

How the Base Locks

Open the flat carton into a square tube and turn it upside down. Fold in the first flap, the second across it, and then the third, tucking its edge under the first until it clicks. Your team will need two or three goes the first time. After an afternoon, they'll do it one-handed.

Testing the Weight

Before a big order, put the heaviest thing you sell in a sample, lift it by the sides, and set it down on the counter a few times. If the base bows, we move up a board grade. That's an easy change at the sample stage and an expensive one after the run.

When packing volumes grow, hand-folding bases starts to cost real time. A brand going from 40 cartons a week to 300 a day can lose an hour daily just on bases. Auto bottom boxes have the base glued at the factory, so it pops into shape when the carton is opened. They cost a little more each, and we can quote both styles side by side.

Printing

Nobody sees the base once the carton is packed. The front panel is where the print should go. Side panels usually carry the ingredients and barcode. We print offset in full color, with matte, gloss and foil finishes available.

Turnaround and Delivery

Turnaround is usually 7 to 10 days. Both styles arrive flat in bundles, and a few thousand fit on one stockroom shelf. Delivery is free across the UAE.
